Meagan has worked exclusively in the area of Family Law since 2011, initially as a Paralegal before being admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. Meagan has recently returned to the Darling Downs after spending a few years in the Sydney Registry honing her litigious skills.
Meagan’s vast experience includes assisting clients with complex parenting and property arrangements, particularly those involving high nett worth asset pools, complex structuring, taxation and bankruptcy. As a passionate advocate of clients’ rights, Meagan is well versed in the full suite of Family Law matters and assists clients before, during and after separation. Meagan has a particular interest in complex matters such as parenting proceedings involving relocation, allegations of parental alienation or family violence, as well as property and maintenance applications navigating intertwined entities, addressing the existence of loans, determining the extent of financial resources and achieving or defending Spousal Maintenance applications.
Having dedicated the last decade to Family Law, Meagan has experience in the breadth of Family Law issues, from assisting with simple Divorce Applications to achieving Final Orders through a Trial, and everything in between. Meagan understands the motivations of her clients and their spouses, and relishes in the opportunity to apply her versatile approach, often assisting with Binding Child Support Agreements, Limited Child Support Agreements and Binding Financial Agreements as a means to negotiate and appropriately document an entire agreement.
While Meagan brings strong experience in litigating Family Law matters, her perceptive and caring nature ensures that she is inherently determined to achieve a positive outcome for all clients through successful negotiations wherever possible, without exposing parties (and more importantly, children) to the costs of litigation, both financial and emotional.

Meagan is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association and is an Executive Member of the local Downs and South Western Queensland Law Association.
